Tax and Consulting Services

In addition to the variety of services provided by the SCLC, we also provide Tax and Consulting Services for those ministries and ministers who are unable to secure the services of a local Accountant or CPA who is familiar with ministerial, church or religiously oriented tax issues.

Our rates for consultation, research or other tax services are $80 per hour. While we do not prepare tax returns at the present time, we will provide consultation and guidance on a variety of tax Forms including:

• Forms 1040 (Minister’s Individual taxes)
• Form 990 (Non-Profit)
• Form 990-T (UBIT including the Health Care Credit)
• Forms 941 (Payroll taxes) etc.

We will also provide consultation and /or preparation of applications for 501 c (3) status with the Internal Revenue Service.
